JaimeDasilva:I stumbled on the fact that my home network connection somehow was changed to PUBLIC!This is a frustrating situation but is actually a reasonable protection. Windows changes your network connection to PUBLIC - makes your computer undiscoverable - when it detects a significant change in network topology - when you are suddenly talking to a different or reconfigured router, maybe when DHCP provides you with a new IP address (I haven’t confirmed that), etc. You cannot enter into “sharing” relationships until you tell Windows this is a safe environment.
Hopefully a Mac takes a similar precaution.
